After completing my stint at Wirecard and building my own note taking app I got back in touch with the colleague I worked with during the fishbreak.ch days. He was working with a collective of 17 car retailers and their goal was to bring all the service information from their legacy ERP online so they could build a modern e-commerce store front.
I was hired as the person in charge of managing all the data and consolidating it within their fresh Pimcore installation. The starting point was some pre-existing code provided by another agency. From this starting point we built out a system keeping track of over 800,000 maintenance services for 10 different car brands. Currently we are also calculating 2.4 million different price variations for the 17 locations across Germany.
This contract was completed working among a group of experienced contractors and I was the single person handling the data management aspects of this application.
